se avete visto lo spettacolo teatrale “Peter Pan,” ricorderete che il capo dei pirati ripeteva ad ogni occasione il suo ultimo discorso perché temeva di non avere il tempo di poterlo fare quando sarebbe venuto il tempo per morire davvero. È più o meno quello che capita a me, e quindi, anche se non sto morendo in questo momento, esso verrà prima o poi ed io voglio lasciarvi un ultimo saluto prima di dipartire. |

| Be Prepared” in this way, to live happy and to die happy – stick to your Scout promise always – even after you have ceased to be a boy – and God help you to do it. |
